What is Students for Global Health?
[about info]
Our Mission:
Students for Global Health is a group of students united in the belief that health is a human right. We envision a world in which health – the ability to not only survive but thrive – is possible for all people, regardless of where they call home. Through a partnership with MASS Odisha, students have the opportunity to learn about and support health equity in both the local and global community.
Our Partner:
SGH raises funds for MASS ("Manava Adhikar Seva Samiti" -- "Human Rights Service Committee") Odisha. They are a non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical, secular development organization initiated by a group of Sociology & Anthropology students from the Sambalpur University in Odisha, India. Feel free to learn more about them on their Facebook page here. University of Washington students in SGH have the opportunity to work and communicate directly with MASS to support their mission.
